I had the privilege of meeting and discussing with the Founder-President of the societ -y. Late Sri Algireddy Kashi Viswanatha Reddy garu. I was overtaken by a sense of pride in the fact that, a so called backward area is capable of producing rural leadership that is rated amongst the best in the word in terms of commitment to rural development and the betterment of the rural poor, organizational abilities, personal integrity and adherence to the highest values of a democratic and just society. Ever since then I have been groping to find out how the Mulkanoor model of Cooperative Movement can be replicated on a wider scale in the country.
Highly inspired by the efforts and success of the society. It is a role model for others. If at all villages have such committed cooperative societies, India will change for better. It is one stop answer to all needs and aspirations of farmers. The villages are lucky to have such visionary founder and followed by the President, Shri A. Praveen Reddy, Hats off!
